Students and faculty from accredited educational institutions (high schools, colleges, and universities) are welcome to apply.

JetBrains offers a free, open-source license for students as part of their "Student Pack" program. With this program, students can access all JetBrains desktop tools, including IntelliJ IDEA, PyCharm, CLion, and more, for free while they are enrolled in school. To apply for the JetBrains Student Pack, students need to provide proof of enrollment, such as a current student ID or a letter from the school, on the JetBrains website.

Students need to be enrolled in an accredited educational program that takes one or more years of full-time study to complete.

  • The JetBrains Student Pack is valid for one year, after which students need to reapply to continue using the tools.
